The calendars are selling fast and now that the village shop is open I've put all the ones that were left in Buckley's, the Moot and the Bell into the shop now.  Darkins still has some in Sible though.

We are hoping to produce a 'Hedinghams Calendar' for 2018 with A4 size photographs (portrait format) of any scenes in our villages which will be of interest to anyone who lives (or has lived) here.
We need these photos by Sept.1st and hope to have the calendar ready by early October. They should be sent to Demetra at the Castle and more details can be seen on the posters that are around the two villages and in the Parish magazine.
This is another fund raising effort but the Friends towards restoration and modernisation of the fabric of the Church of St. Nicholas, Castle Hedingham

An Excellent Exhibition!

A big 'Thank you' to everyone who supported the Summer Exhibition and it creating and donating, bidding on an exhibit, having tea and cake or just by visiting the church and enjoying the fabulous artwork and atmosphere of the day. This event has raised in the region of £1300 amazing figure! All the 'winning' bidders of the exhibits have now been notified (and many of the pictures have already been collected!) sorry if you didn't get a piece of artwork with your bid...better luck next time. There were a few pieces of artwork that didn't receive any bids and they will be on show (to buy!) at the 'Summer Lunch' this coming Thursday in the memorial hall (in aid of St Nicholas Church general funds).
